All good things

Hello!

For the past three years, I’ve been writing this blog. My intention was to let more people know about the wonderful opportunities that are available for citizen scientists; that is, for people like you to make real and lasting contributions to science. And, by and large, I think the blog has succeeded. There have been over a thousand posts linking to more than one hundred different free science activities that you can do at home. But, as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.

I have recently come upon one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and, after much thought, I have decided to take it. Unfortunately, following this dream means that I will be out of communication for long periods of time. Therefore, I have decided to retire this blog. I’ll keep the posts up for another six months or so, but after that, it will go the way of the dodo and honest politicians.

His jokes are unbearable!

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you enjoyed it and I really hope that you tried some of the science activities.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Sincerely yours,
